To: All CSG-IPPM site contacts

On June 1, 1997, the CSG-IPPM Surveyor infrastructure will officially be
placed into operational mode and we will begin continual measurements from
each of the currently deployed measurement machines.  Information collected
beginning June 1 will become part of the CSG-IPPM permanent measurement
database.

Beginning May 28, 1997, we will begin monitoring all currently deployed
measurement machines and will be tracking and diagnosing measurement
machine outages on a 7x24 basis.  For this reason, please inform us at
csg-ippm-admin@advanced.org of any planned outages which will impact the
reachability of an IPPM measurement machine.
