The next meeting of Surveyor/IPPM site contacts will be Friday, October 17, 1997 in our main conference room here in Armonk.
We now have been collecting one-way delay and packet loss data on every path between connected machines since June 1st. We'd like to go over these results and prepare for expansion this school year.
The meeting will begin at 9am Eastern time and will end around 4pm. Agenda will include: - Current and future development - Status of one-way delay and packet loss measurements - Measurement analysis and presentation - Current and future deployment - How to distribute about $150,000 in staffing funds expected from a National Science Foundation grant. The preference will be to distribute this funding among Common Solutions Group schools for development activities.

The Westchester County (White Plains, NY) Airport is about ten minutes away and supports some major airlines. The LaGuardia (New York, NY) Airport is less convenient (about 55 minutes away), but is the closest major airport and offers a greater range of airlines and services.
The Ramada Inn at 94 Business Park Drive, Armonk, New York (1-800-272-6232) is walking distance from our office. The Stouffer Renaissance Westchester Hotel at 80 w. Red Oak Lane, White Plains, NY (914-694-5400) is also recommended, although the hotel is about 10 miles (18 minutes away).
