ThinkQuest Internet Challenge

The ThinkQuest Internet Challenge encourages students to use the Internet to create Web-based educational tools and materials that make learning fun and contagious. The ThinkQuest program encourages students of different levels of the information technology ladder to form teams to build their educational materials.

Teams, typically coached by teachers, collaborate in the "Internet Style" and develop innovative, high-quality educational tools that take advantage of strengths of the Internet.

After six years the library of team created entries grew to over 6000 student created sites on topics from Art to Zen. These web sites were hosted by Advanced Network & Services and made publically available for free. Operation of ThinkQuest programs (except New York City and Tomorrow's Teachers) is now the responsibility of the Oracle Help Us Help foundation.
